The desolate photo is where the entirety of Block 37 was, and much of the events in THE HOLY TERROR took place along that area on Randolph between State and Dearborn. The book set during the winter of 1989. The black and white photo found by happenstance when I was looking for old photos of Block 37. The man is still around, he's the character in my novel, his real name right here. This is the screed he hands out at his new spot at State and Madison. The new "BlockThirthSeven" wouldn't have him, that's for certain. They wouldn't have me, even. It isn't 1989 anymore.

ANOTHER COPY OF THE HOLY TERROR REAR ITS UGLY HEAD

Mike Olson now has a copy of the Zeising edition of THE HOLY TERROR, thanks to my pal Chris, who found a copy in Anchorage. I had been ready to have eBay mail him this signed copy that's been up there forever.

Does anybody ever notice that I asked Mark Zeising to put a period in the title and he did indeed do that.

Oh, and I don't know who that monster doll is because I'm dumb.

AND STILL MORE HOLY TERRORS

And so it is that there are many novels called THE HOLY TERROR or HOLY TERROR. The one starring Batman was illustrated by Norm Breyfogle, who died last month at the age of 58, after having a stroke in 2015. And there is a Facebook page for a rock group, as well as there having one time been a stock company, and that is as cool as when there was an attorney with the last name Frankenstein downtown. Now to go look up that stock company.
