CONTINUING ONWARD WITH STEPHEN CARELLA

It all evolved into messages between Meyer Meyer and Steve Carella, detectives at the 87th Precinct in Ed McBain's series of novels. So I'll keep going with the pages of messages. I haven't been to the abandoned school in several months, so during a trip up north last week, I took the page I had intended to use in February (doctor appt cancelled, boring story) and took it on a trip, with it eventually landing somewhere on the Dan Ryan Expressway off the 87th Street elevated stop.

AN ONGOING GAG GOING BACK TO MY BIRTHDAY

So I received this happy birthday message last September just before a doctor's appointment. On the way back, I am always waiting for the bus in front of the abandoned Luther High School closed for years now. I thought the proper thing to do would be to tape the photo to a random window and every month add to the writing, even after rain had left the previous message in streaks. Just a silly thing, but it is a ritual.

12 HOURS FROM NOW, THIRTY YEARS AGO

I've decided that instead of posting photos from that era of my life yet again, I should instead post photos from the various accidents and body modifications that I have caused and survived over the past half of my life. Not in any order, some more gruesome than others. All have stories. And there's a bunny after the last photo of my eventual Medical Examiner's positive ID.
