Well, it is a hand crank elevator and those freaking clowns have scared the crap out of me for over twenty years. The Flatiron Building is at the intersections of Damen, North, and Milwaukee, and most of the space if for artists' studios or galleries, a neat hair salon with the name I'll Cut You, and the late and lamented House of Monsters. I've been told by a few random people that someone who goes by the name JoJoBaby knows more about the clowns, but everybody is very enigmatic about it all.
